Life as a Year 3 teacher in Camberley: My Third Year of teaching!

Wow it has been a while!! The end of school last year was busy and I just completely forgot to update my blog!

Last May, I had an amazing time with my friends when they came to visit. We explored London and went on a Jack the Ripper tour. Then we spent some time in Brighton and then up to Bath. Both amazing towns with such a different feel.

I haven't been anywhere in Europe since then, as Josh and I were trying to save money for our move. We moved into a 2 bedroom flat down near the station. It is so convenient as it is such a close walk to the shops and the station! No more waiting for cabs or the bus. It is a lovely and large flat, very comfortable. I was also sponsored by my school and went to get a new work visa.

I had such a lovely summer home in Canada.... five whole weeks! I did absolutely no work!! I spent a lot of time with my parents and my friends and relaxing at the beach/farm. My best friend also asked me to be her maid of honor at her wedding next August. Josh came to visit for two weeks at the end of summer and so did my sister. We spent about a week in Winnipeg, going to a Goldeyes game, Shrek the musical and the horse races. We also went to Winnipeg beach and Gimli. My parents also took Josh, Susannah and I to Banff for three days. It was so gorgeous and we all had a really good time. We went up Sulphur Mountain, spent the day at Lake Louise and went horse back riding near the river. Oh and lots of shopping! I know this was a short post but trying to catch up in detail since early May is really hard!

I have started my third year teaching and am still in year 3. I have a really great partner teacher and have taken on extra responsibility at school. I am the PSHE subject lead (Person, Social, Health and Economic Education) and am training a trainee teacher. Last weekend I went to a friends wedding at the Orangery in Kensington Palace. It was gorgeous and we all had a really good time. I don't have anything planned until October half term, where Josh and I are going to Barcelona. Then my parents will come in November! They will finally have a room and bed to sleep in!!!!
